Our Galician Cake is our most beloved creation, a fusion of everything that celebrates galician baking tradition: almond cake, with its century-long history, and delicious semicured galician cheese, with its unique flavour.
Here at Panaderia Ana we wanted to join our two specialties in a new dessert, repressentative of our native land: a rustic base of almonds topped with the sweetness of cream cheese.

Our galician cake starts with a base of traditional almond cake, made from the best-quality almonds crushed to a flour, mixed with fresh eggs and our own special touch which we've mastered through the years. This base hidrates itself with the cream cheese, making for a delicious and complete dessert.
On top of our almond base we serve a layer of cheesecake made from traditional Galician semicured cheese, which rises with heat during baking, making for a mousse-like irresistible and creamy texture. This makes for an incredible contrast: the sweetness of almond cake mixed with the unique, delicious cheese flavour. The crunchy, grainy almond base with the creamyness of the cheesecake.

While we also explore new combinations of flavours with our modern cheesecakes (Lotus, berries, pistacchio...), our Galician Cake is a tribute to authentic Galician tradition.
This cake doesn't follow foreign trends. Instead, it is rooted in our land: the almonds of Galician tradition and cheese from our own cows, raised from the green pastures of our own land. This dessert os for those who seek the taste of Galicia in its purest form.
